  • Welcome to the Autism Training Program

    NOTICE—UPDATE

At this time, the State of Kansas has given the Autism Training Program approval to resume training for Medicaid Providers ONLY. If you are currently enrolled as a Medicaid provider, please contact the Autism Training Program Staff for training information. If you are interested in becoming a Medicaid Provider in the state of Kansas and attending our training at no cost, you can fill out an application here: https://www.kmap-state-ks.us. Once your application has been completed, please contact the Autism Training Program Staff for training information.

The Kansas Center for Autism Research and Training is currently unable to provide definite information regarding the future likelihood of training options for Non-Medicaid Providers. However, you may periodically refer to this website for any updates on the future availability of trainings.

Registering does NOT guarantee you a training slot for your preferred training date. We will contact you to schedule and confirm dates.

The online portion of this training consists of a pretest, 10 tutorials, 10 quizzes, and a posttest. Each tutorial is followed by a quiz. Before you complete the first tutorial, you must take the pretest. The tutorials must be completed in numerical order. For example, you must complete the tutorial and quiz for Module 1 before moving on to Module 2.

Please click on the link above, fill in the information about yourself and choose the dates that you would like to attend. After you register, you will receive an email to confirm that you have a valid email address.

Once you have confirmed your email address, you will be receiving an email from Autism Training Program Staff two weeks before training containing your enrollment key. You will need to enter your enrollment key to access the training course.

If it is less than two weeks before training is to begin and you have not received an enrollment key, please email us at autismtraining@kumc.edu.
